Engagement Session at Tregenna Castle St Ives

I recently met up with Kim and Elliot for their pre-wedding consultation and engagement session at Tregenna Castle in St Ives. After chatting over the details of the wedding day, we went for a walk around the grounds to so I could show them some of the locations we may use for photography at their wedding in June. There are so many different possibilities at Tregenna which I use depending on the the time of day or season. Having a variety of locations mean I can choose somewhere to ensure we get the best light on the day. There is a woodland with a bridge over a stream that provides wonderful soft shade on bright summer days. There are panoramic views over St Ives Bay looking along the north Cornish coast, which is spectacular whatever the weather. There is even a walled garden, where the light can be so dreamy on an overcast day and is a sanctuary on windy days. You can see some of the photos we made in the gallery below. I hope we are fortunate to get such lovely light when the wedding day comes around.
